Getting started

Every AI receptionist is hand-built and trained specifically for your business — no generic templates. After your call the Ring 24/7 team builds, trains and tests it against real scenarios; typical projects go live in 1–8 weeks depending on complexity, and nothing launches until it answers exactly the way you want.

No writing required. One scoping call plus what you already have — your website, price list and booking rules. We pull your services, policies and common questions from those materials, draft the AI's answers ourselves, and you simply review and correct them. Most owners spend one to two hours total.

None — Ring 24/7 has in-house Australian developers. At Ring 24/7 we build the AI, connect your phone number and calendar, and install the chat widget on your website — whatever it runs on. You get clear reports of every conversation; if you can read a text message, you can run this.

Ring 24/7 builds a knowledge base from your website, services, prices, policies and the answers you give on the scoping call, then designs conversation flows for your real scenarios — booking rules, tricky questions, when to transfer. Then the Ring 24/7 team stress-tests it with the kinds of calls and messages your business actually gets, and refines until it passes.

Always. Before launch you test it yourself — call it, chat with it, try different scenarios and edge cases. We refine until you're happy, and only then does it start answering real customers. You approve the launch, not us.

Ring 24/7 would love to — however, because every build is fully customised to your business, there's no generic version to trial. Instead you get a live demo on your call, and you test and approve your own AI before it launches. The risk sits with us to build something you approve, not with you.

Voice agent

An IVR makes callers do the work — navigate menus, press buttons, repeat themselves. A voice agent has a normal conversation: the caller just says what they need, and it answers, books, qualifies or transfers. No menus, no hold music, no "please listen carefully as our options have changed."

You keep your existing number, and all your calls are integrated on top of it — so nothing changes for your customers.

Absolutely — many businesses start exactly that way. Route calls to the AI only when nobody picks up after a few rings, only outside opening hours, or all the time. You choose, and you can change the routing whenever you like.

It's built for real phone calls, not lab conditions. Callers can cut it off mid-sentence and it adjusts; it copes with accents, mumbling, kids crying and traffic noise. When it genuinely can't make something out, it politely asks the caller to repeat — and if it still can't, it offers a human instead of guessing.

Yes — up to 15 calls at the same time, and every single one gets answered in under a second. No busy signal, no hold queue. If you regularly need more than that, we scope it in your build.

It knows its limits. Per scenario, you choose: transfer the call live to you or your team, take a detailed message, or book a callback. You get an instant notification with the full transcript either way — it never makes things up to avoid handing off.

Ring 24/7 is inbound — it answers the calls that come to your business. It does not make outbound or cold calls to your customers. The one proactive thing it does is text-based follow-ups: booking confirmations, reminders and an automatic "sorry we missed you" SMS. So nobody gets cold-called on your behalf — the AI's job is simply making sure your phone is always answered.

That's configurable — many businesses have it introduce itself as "the AI assistant for [business]", which builds trust rather than hurting it. Some regions require AI disclosure or recording announcements, so we configure your build to match the rules where you operate. We'll recommend the right setup on your call.

With hard rules, not judgment calls. During the build we define your escalation triggers — urgent symptoms for a clinic, a burst pipe for a plumber, a distressed caller for a charity — and matching calls are immediately routed to a human number you set, with an instant alert. The AI never tries to "handle" a crisis itself.

Chat agent

Old chatbots match keywords against a script — one unexpected word and you get "Sorry, I didn't understand that." This chat agent understands what the customer actually means, asks follow-up questions, handles typos and slang, and completes real tasks: booking appointments, capturing lead details, answering from your business knowledge. Try it yourself on the product page.

On your website — a lightweight chat widget styled to match your brand, and we handle the installation for you. It shares the same brain as your voice agent, so answers stay consistent whether customers call or type.

Yes. It reads through typos, abbreviations, slang and half-finished sentences the way a person would, and answers the question the customer actually meant to ask.

Yes — conversation history is kept per contact, so a returning customer doesn't have to repeat themselves. "Hi Sarah, is this about Thursday's appointment?" beats "How can I help you today?" every time.

Yes — it books against your real calendar mid-conversation, collects lead details in a natural back-and-forth (no clunky forms), and can send secure Stripe payment links for deposits or purchases. Everything syncs to your calendar and CRM automatically.

Yes — trained on your catalogue or service list, it can suggest the right product for what the customer describes, mention relevant add-ons, and nudge toward the booking or purchase. You control how strongly it's allowed to sell.

It's one small script that loads after your page — visitors won't notice any speed difference. It works on Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and fully custom sites, and we install it for you as part of the build, styled to match your brand.

We re-install the widget on the new site and retrain the AI on your updated content — included in your plan, not a new build. The agent and all its training live on our platform, not inside your website, so nothing is lost in a redesign.

Both. It's trained on your tone from day one — formal, friendly, cheeky, whatever fits your brand. After launch we review real conversations and keep tuning: sharpening answers, filling gaps, adding new scenarios. It gets better every month, with your approval on every change.

Pricing

Every business is different — your call volume, what you want the AI to handle, and your integrations all change the picture — so we tailor pricing to what you actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all number. The best next step is to send an enquiry and tell us a bit about your business; the Ring 24/7 team will get to know your needs, then talk through the pricing that fits.

Ownership & working with us

You own everything that's yours: the conversation data, contacts, transcripts, and the business knowledge and scripts the AI is trained on — all exportable at any time.

No. Before your account closes you can export all transcripts, contacts, summaries and the knowledge documents we built for your AI — everything you'd need to continue elsewhere. The agent itself stops answering (it runs on Ring 24/7 infrastructure), and your call forwarding simply reverts to how it was before.

Send us the change — new prices, hours, services, a different greeting — and we update your AI as part of your plan, typically within one to two business days (same-day for urgent fixes). Your staff can send changes by email, and on Enterprise we proactively suggest improvements in monthly reviews.

Fair question — and the honest answer is: your AI doesn't need us to keep working. It runs 24/7 on cloud infrastructure with automated monitoring, not on anyone's laptop. Day-to-day answering, booking and follow-ups continue regardless of who's at a desk. Every build is documented, so support and changes don't depend on what's in one person's head.

Tell us what you want it to do — a new channel, a new integration, SMS reminders, a second location. Small additions are often covered by your plan; bigger ones are scoped as a fixed-price add-on or a plan upgrade. Your existing training always carries over.

Ring 24/7 is an Australian team that hand-builds and trains your AI receptionist for you. Every build is custom and tested before it goes live, and looked after by the Ring 24/7 team directly — not a faceless overseas call centre or an account manager.

We're built in Sydney and serve all of Australia — the scoping call, build, testing, launch and support all happen remotely, so your state makes no difference. International businesses are welcome too; pricing stays in AUD.

Builds are English-first today. If a meaningful share of your customers speak another language, raise it on your scoping call — multilingual support can be scoped for your specific build rather than promised generically.

Yes — gladly. Charities miss calls too: donor questions, volunteer sign-ups, event info, tax-deductibility questions. We tailor the build to how a not-for-profit actually runs — mention you're an NFP on your scoping call.

Two ways: book a free 15–30 minute call and we'll scope it together, or hit "Start my build" and answer the questions online — about 3 minutes, no call needed. Either way, nothing is charged until you've agreed the scope and the build officially starts.

Security, data & reliability

All conversations — voice and chat — are protected with bank-level encryption from end to end, with full logging of every interaction. We never sell or share your data, and it's never used to train anyone else's AI.

Data is hosted with established cloud providers and retention periods are configurable. Handling is built to satisfy the Australian Privacy Act (with GDPR-grade practices for anything international), and a data-processing agreement is available on request.

Recording is your choice: on, off, or consent-based with an automatic announcement — configured to match Australian recording-consent rules, which differ by state (we set this up correctly for you). If recording is on, you can listen back to any call on request; transcripts and summaries work either way. Recordings belong to you.

Yes — deletion requests are honoured across recordings, transcripts and contact records, and we help you handle them properly. Automatic retention limits can also delete old data on a schedule you set.

This is exactly why builds aren't instant. Your AI only answers from the knowledge base you've approved — when something falls outside it, it says so and offers a human, rather than guessing. You test it before launch, every conversation is logged so nothing hides, and if you ever spot a wrong answer we correct it immediately, usually same-day.

It runs on established, redundant cloud and telephony providers — the same infrastructure large call centres use. If anything ever fails, your calls fall back to your original forwarding, so your phone still rings like it did before Ring 24/7. And because it runs in the cloud, your office internet dropping doesn't affect it at all.

Calls are picked up in under a second, and it replies in conversation with natural human pacing — no awkward dead air. Chat messages get answers instantly, 24/7, no matter how many conversations are running at once.
